St. Anne's Salvatorian Campus is seeking to hire an RN, Director of Nursing for our 50 bed skilled nursing facility.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of campus-wide nursing service objectives, standards of nursing practice, nursing policy and procedure manual, written job descriptions for each level of nursing personnel, scheduling of daily rounds to see all residents, methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services, for recommending the number and level of nursing personnel to be employed and nursing staff development. These services are consistent with the home's standards and philosophy and are in compliance with all regulations, codes, policies and procedures that govern the facility.

JOB STANDARDS:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and have current licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse.

2. Prefer prior experience as a Director of Nursing. Must have three years experience as a Registered Nurse with a strong background in geriatrics, supervision, management and/or administration.

3. Must possess refined leadership and organizational skills.

4. Must possess refined verbal and written communication skills.

5. Must be able to make frequent decisions, and function independently.

6. Must have a thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations that govern a long term care facility.

7. Must be on call for emergencies.

8. Must have the ability to identify and initiate problem solving in the areas of physical, psychosocial needs associated with aging and loss involving the resident, family, staff.

9. Must serve in a leadership role in dealing and directing day to day organizational management of the health care team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 /hour
